Our client, a leading manufacturing company with multiple sites across the UK, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join their team at their Oldham site. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems, including AC/DC motors.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Apprentice-trained in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC motors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to work 6-2, 2-10, and 10-6 Monday to Friday rotating shifts.
- Competitive salary between £49,000 and £51,000 depending on experience.
