My client is a leading supplier of Pumps and Accessories with over 50 years of experience providing solutions and service works across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Works Foreman to bolster their team in Oldham. The ideal candidate will come from a Hands on Pumping background, will have some supervisory experience, will hold a full Drivers licence and will be based locally to Oldham.
Works Foreman Job Overview
- Hands on Pump repair work, both in house and on site
- Build-up of pump set assemblies
- Site Surveys / customer meetings to fault find systems
- Preparing quotes for work and providing accurate costing details
- Shopfloor supervision and control
- Overseeing the Health and Safety of the Shopfloor
- Assisting in mentoring and training apprentice engineers
- Ensuring all Vans are regularly services, MOT checked and are fully legal at all times
Works Foreman Job Requirements
- Previous hands-on Pump service experience
- Previous experience in a Supervisory position
- Hands on experience with Health and Safety legislation
- A Multi skilled background would be highly advantageous
- Full driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Oldham
Works Foreman Salary & Benefits
- Salary 35,000 - 40,000 DOE
- Company Bonus scheme
- Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30
- 33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Pension
