Are you an experienced production leader with a passion for driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement? SF Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee our client's 24/5 Production Department within a tooling manufacturing company located in Oldham.

As a Production Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the Production Team, ensuring productivity, scheduling, and efficiency targets are met
- Oversee the Planning function, developing and maintaining production schedules to exceed business and customer demands.
- Ensure effective capacity management of production plant, materials, and labour resources.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new team members while driving professional development.
- Chair Quarterly People Reviews, recommending training and grading changes.
- Monitor performance to plan and implement corrective actions to recover schedules.
- Drive a strong Health and Safety culture across the team.
- Enhance efficiency across people, processes, and equipment.
- Generate and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain high transaction accuracy and exceptional housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to streamline New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Build and sustain a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Promote the Company Vision and align the team's efforts with business success.

To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Strong people management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and delegate effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Financial acumen, with an understanding of business impacts from production operations.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and legal production requirements.
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Competency in Microsoft IT Packages (experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is advantageous but not essential).
