Paying up to £26k + Benefits - Based in Oldham, North Manchester our client is a successful engineering business that are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join their expanding team. This is an office based, permanent job opportunity working 9.00am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

THE JOBKey Responsibilities: As an Office Administrator, your duties will include:

General Administrative Support:

  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and ensuring messages are relayed promptly
  • Preparing, formatting, and distributing documents such as memos, reports, and presentations
  • Maintaining the office filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring documents are well-organised and accessible
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff
  • Ensuring office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers) are in good working order and arranging maintenance when necessary.

Reception Duties:

  • Covering reception for the Receptionist as and when required
  • Greeting visitors and clients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Managing the front desk operations, ensuring that the office environment is tidy and presentable

THE PERSON

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
