Are you an organised and proactive professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic office environment? We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to join a busy team based in Milton Keynes. This full-time, permanent position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work in a supportive and professional setting.

About the Role:

As the Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily administrative activities. This non-technical position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and experience in office management or coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage routine paperwork, including internal and external documentation.
  • Oversee administrative aspects of site service contracts, such as supplies, workwear, and staff consumables.
  • Assist with document formatting and updates for the team.
  • Perform general office duties, including meeting room management and guest reception.

 

What Were Looking For:

  • Essential Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.
    • Strong organisational skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
    • Familiarity with office processes, filing systems, and KPI tracking.
    • Experience with facilities contract management and CRM systems.
    • Understanding of procedural documentation.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office-based role within a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Railway environment.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Knowledge of UK rail industry documentation and supply chain procedures.
    • Proficiency in Power BI.
    • Experience with procurement and core supply chain processes.
