Description

The key responsibilities of a Payroll Assistant includes:

  • Managing and processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and company policies.
  • Reconciling payroll discrepancies and resolving any payroll related issues.
  • Maintaining employee payroll records and updating employee payroll information as needed.
  • Coordinating with the HR team to verify staff absences and update payroll records.
  • Preparing and submitting documents for tax and other deductions.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful Payroll Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience working in a Payroll environment ideally in-house.
  • Proficient understanding of payroll software systems.
