Job Description:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Shaw, OL2. The successful candidate will bring a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for our primary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum
- Foster a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to inspire students
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning and development
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Uphold and follow the policies of the school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Primary Teacher with a strong track record of success
- Deep understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
