GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher to join our partnership primary school in Oldham, werneth OL9.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school known for its warm and welcoming ethos, where staff are supported and valued. The role involves delivering high-quality education to KS1 students, encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a KS1 setting.
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and best practices in teaching and learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to teaching.
A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help all learners achieve their potential.
Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring open communication and a shared commitment to students’ well-being and success.
The potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
We also offer, via our partner, access to accredited Education-relevant CPD courses.
In addition to this, GSL Education are currently offering £100 for the successful recommendation of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants (Ts &Cs apply)
