Your new companyHays education have been approached by several schools in the Oldham area who are looking to secure Teaching Assistants to start on an immediate basis. These job roles are available across both KS1 and KS2 and will require you to provide additional support to pupils. The current roles on offer include day to day, short-time and long-time roles depending on the school, so whatever it is you are looking for, we will have something to suit your needs. This is a great opportunity to experience different schools in the area to find the one that suits you.

Your new roleIn this job role, you will be responsible for helping in both group and 1:1 settings with pupils in KS1 and KS2, and this could be helping across English, Maths, Reading and Writing. Depending on the needs of the school, you may be asked to move around classes, so you will need to be flexible and approachable. It is important for you to work closely with the other teachers and TA's to ensure pupils are progressing, and that work is in line with pupil ability. You will become an integral part of the school, joining a team of TA'S who are very experienced and that you will be able to learn from.What you'll need to succeedIn this job role, you will be responsible for helping in both group and 1:1 settings with pupils in KS1 and KS2, and this could be helping across English, Maths, Reading and Writing.
