Aspire People are in partnership with a secondary school in Oldham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in re-engaging students from diverse backgrounds, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and fostering positive relationships. You will provide both academic and emotional support, helping students reintegrate into the classroom and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with SEMH and challenging behaviour on a one-to-one and small group basis.
* Re-engage students in their learning by building trust and developing effective strategies for managing behaviour.
* Assist with core subjects, including Maths, English, and Science, to help students achieve academic progress.
* Collaborate with teaching staff, the pastoral team, and parents to create tailored support plans.
* Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and self-confidence in students.

Requirements:
* Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour or SEMH is essential.
* Strong academic skills in Maths, English, and Science to provide effective support in these subjects.
* Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one for an immediate start).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
