Do you want to work for an expanding supplier to High Street retailers, dealing with a wide variety of products across toys, homewares, gift and seasonal?
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Sales or Buying Administrator to join their team, based in amazing offices in Oldham. Working as part of a new division - suppling the US Markets, you will report directly to the CEO and your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing specification sheets for new product development ideas
- Sending specification sheets and samples to China based suppliers
- Follow up with China based suppliers for quotations and samples
- Preparing Excel spreadsheets for CEO & President to review quotes from suppliers for final selection purposes
- Checking samples from suppliers and approving them before being sent to customers
- Preparing customer "decks/ presentations" in Power Point format for US based customers
- Liaising with in-house graphic design team to obtain assets to help prepare decks
- Preparing samples to send to customers in US and suppliers in China, includes all documentation needed for couriers/ customs
- Liaising with sales representative group in US, to ensure customer request are met on a timely basis, such as quotes and sample requirements
- Working with CEO & President to take details for all customer presentations and quotations
- Collating samples for all US customer meetings
- This role will also have potential to transition working with our teams in UK & Europe at a later date
The successful candidate will be experience in a Buying, Product Development or Key Account Administrator role. You will come from a "product based" business and will need high attention to detail and have excellent Microsoft office skills.
