  • You'll work onsite daily in their top of the range lab, but you will get a super early finish on Fridays!

About The Job

  • We're looking for a driven Lab Technician who will join a strong technical team.  
  • Your focus will be Polymer / Rubber compounds.
  • You'll be responsible for testing site produced compounds for hardness, specific gravity, plasticity and colouration in line with customer requirements. 
  • With your accuracy and keen eye for detail, you'll record all test data using the internal QMS. 
  • You will manage compliance documentation and certification as well as being a keen H&S advocate. 
  • Using various forms of laboratory equipment, you'll have the ability to work safely and to standard testing methods. 

About You

  • You should have experience of materials, textiles, packaging or polymer textiles OR a big passion for it!
  • You should LOVE working in a laboratory environment and will want to form a career as a Polymer Technician. 
  • As you'll liaise with multiple teams including QA, QC, production as well as customers, you'll need confidence to relay verbally any test results.
