Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and provide accurate estimates for construction projects.
- Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess and mitigate potential risks related to cost and contracts.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide ongoing financial updates and reports to project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, identify variations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Work closely with the project management team to optimize financial performance and achieve project objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes. NEC experience advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software tools for quantity surveying.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary in the range of £55,000 to £65,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension contributions, and generous holiday allowances. A company car or car allowance will also be provided.
