Our client is a well-established family-owned building contractor with a strong track record in various sectors, including education, housing, health, commercial, and industrial projects. Their operations encompass refurbishment, design, and construction work in the North West and Yorkshire regions.

They are now seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You'll be working on social housing refurbishment (kitchen and bathroom) schemes.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast.
  • Assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale.
  • Assist in the control of contract budgets.
  • Prepare monthly valuation reports
  • Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.
  • Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Monitor the contract progress
