Joinery Quantity Surveyor Tier 1 Contractor Projects
Location: Oldham
Salary:£50,000 - £65,000 + package (DOE)
Were recruiting for a well-established specialist joinery contractor delivering high-quality supply and install packages across 1st fix, 2nd fix and final fix. They work with Tier 1 main contractors on major projects across commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors.
With secured work into 2026, theyre looking to appoint an experiencedQuantity Surveyorto commercially manage multiple projects ranging from £500k to £4m, with durations between 16 to 52 weeks.
The Role:
- Overseeing the full commercial lifecycle across multiple joinery packages
- Managing subcontractor payments, applications, valuations, CVRs and final accounts
- Identifying variations and ensuring these are tracked, priced and agreed
- Working closely with delivery teams and Tier 1 clients to maintain smooth project progress
- Reporting into the Commercial Manager, ensuring each job is commercially sound
About You:
- Proven QS experience within the joinery, fit-out, or interiors sector
- Comfortable managing several live projects at once
- Experience working on supply and install packages 1st, 2nd, and final fix
- Strong negotiation, financial, and organisational skills
- Able to build solid working relationships with clients and colleagues
