My client are a leading fit out and refurbishment contractor delivering exceptional professional services to a number of leading clients across the UK. Projects include shop fitting, bars and restaurants, and leisure schemes, valued up to 5m.

With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting projects, they are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Cost control and value management strategies.
  • Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements
  • Manage subcontractor payments.
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues.
  • Variation Account and forecast final accounts.
  • Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
  • Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.
  • Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
  • Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.
  • Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
