Proslipsi Consulting is recruiting for a Skilled Vehicle Dismantler. As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for disassembling various makes and models. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the careful disassembly of various components and machinery, ensuring that all parts are handled with precision and care. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently with both power and hand tools.

Duties

  • Dismantle machinery and equipment according to specified procedures.
  • Safely utilise power tools and hand tools to remove components.
  • Inspect parts for damage or wear during the dismantling process.
  • Sort and categorise dismantled parts for reuse, recycling, or disposal.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks during disassembly.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machinery operation.
  • Proficient in the use of power tools, including drills, saws, and grinders.
  • Skilled in handling hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
  • Attention to detail to ensure precision in dismantling tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the dismantling process.
  • FLT licence would be desirable
