Drama & English Teacher - Oldham - Full time - September start Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and enthusiastic Drama & English Teacher to work at a popular, secondary school in Oldham to join them on a full time basis from September. The role will be a temporary role for the Autumn term, and will then potentially become permanent from January. This role is a full time position and is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers of Drama & English. The successful candidate will need to fully immerse themselves immediately in the school and department and assist in planing and preparing lessons, attend departmental meetings & parents evenings when necessary. You will also need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Oldham Position Drama & English Teacher Start date September 2024 End date - December 2024 Full time Minimum rate of pay MPS/UPS Hours 8:15AM 4 PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided) Drama & English Teaching experience desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
