Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic English teacher to join a secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from October 2024 to cover a sickness absence, on a week by week basis.

The Role

Teacher of English Language and Literature to GCSE

Five days a week 8.15am to 3.00pm

Calm confident behaviour management skills where students can share beliefs in a safe supportive environment.

A flexible teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of abilities, beliefs and cultures.

An enthusiastic English specialist who encourages an enjoyment in reading for pleasure.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers or experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching AQA GCSE English to students aged 11 to 16.
