The ideal candidate would be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the world of food and nutrition. You will play a key role in helping students develop practical skills and a deep understanding of the importance of healthy eating and food science.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and educational trends.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
