Position Overview:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in mathematics. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring that students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and their practical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor and support the academic and personal development of all students.
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to students with varying abilities, including those with SEND.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's vision.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a productive classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
  • Mandatory: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at KS3 and KS4 levels in UK schools.
  • A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
