The Maths department is well-resourced and fosters a collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that teachers have the tools they need to deliver a high-quality education. The school serves students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, offering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum.Your new roleAs a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across various key stages. This long-term supply role will require you to integrate into the school's curriculum and teaching methods. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and assessing student progress. You will also be expected to contribute to the department's extracurricular activities and support the overall development of students.What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status & PGCE or an accepted UK equivalent - ECTs & NQTs are welcome to apply
  • Experience teaching maths at KS3 and KS4 - experience with KS5 is advantageous.
  • A passion for working with young people and teaching them
  • Ability to manage behaviour and classrooms to create positive learning environments
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays
  • At least 40 days of UK experience working with students or young people
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
