Location: Oldham
Contract Type: Contract, Full Time Monday to Friday 8:30am- 3pm.
Start Date: Easter to July 2025. Could become permanent for the right Religious Studies Teacher.
Salary: 140 - 200 per day (Depending on Experience)
Are you a passionate and fully qualified Religious Studies (RE) Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our popular secondary school in Oldham are looking for a dedicated Religious Studies (RE) teacher to teach pupils from KS3 to KS4. This role is full-time and involves teaching, planning and marking. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective Religious Studies lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for Religious Studies.
- Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the Religious Studies department and school community.
