An excellent and popular secondary school in Oldham are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education(RE) Teacher to join their team with immediate effect on a full time, long term basis. This role will become permanent for the right Religious Studies (RE) teacher. You must have experience teaching Religious Studies up to KS4 (GCSE Level) and hold QTS status in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective Religious Education (RE) lessons to students from KS3 to KS5.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and maintain high expectations for student behaviour and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching RE and Humanities up to GCSE at secondary school level, with a passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Availability to work full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm, for the duration of the contract.
