Supply Teacher

Milk Education are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring and skilled Secondary Supply Teacher to work in one of our partner secondary schools in Manchester as soon as possible!

This may be working across your subject specialism curriculum KS3 & KS4, and can be completely flexible around you! So whether you are looking for part time or full time work, this could be perfect for you!

All applicants must have valid QTS and ECT’s are more than welcome to apply!

Secondary Supply Teacher responsibilities/duties:

  • Plan earning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to provide tailored lesson plans and learning outcomes.
  • Preparation of materials/equipment (e.g. books, pencils, art supplies, games, AVA equipment), preparing and clearing up activities with the pupils.
  • Maintaining classroom resources and designated areas.
  • Supervise individual or small groups of pupils undertaking teacher-led learning activities by coordinating and explaining basic instructions for the activity, adjusting activities within the scope of the lesson plan and learning outcomes in response to pupils’ learning.
  • Recording of pupil achievement by monitoring learning against learning outcomes, informing the teacher of progress.
  • Assist pupils to develop their independence.
