Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic religious studies teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from Tuesday 22nd April for five weeks initially to cover a temporary sickness absence.

The Role

Teacher of Religious Studies to key stage 3, key stage 4 and Key stage 5.

Five days a week

Teacher of Core Religious studies with a focus on developing open- minded and empathetic learners supporting British Values

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and cultures

The school is Church of England, and religious studies is taught from this perspective. The school welcomes teachers of all faiths and none.

The school have a small sixth form and A level Religious Studies is a popular course - ability to teach up to Key stage 5 is very desirable.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with recent UK experience of teaching Religious Education to students aged 11 to 18.
