Chemistry Teacher

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Chemistry Teacher for a secondary school in Oldham. This is a mainstream secondary and post 16 provision, with a strong science department. The school is going from strength to strength providing CPD throughout the year.

This role would be teaching Chemistry up to A-Level.


The ideal candidate:
Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in GCSE and A Level examinations
Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment
Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils
Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.


EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE.
Previous experience working in a UK school would be ideal
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
