Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of Design Technology looking for a new role from January 2024 in Oldham?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented DT teacher to join a new secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from January 2025 to April 2025

The Role

Teacher of Design Technology- Resistant Materials and Product Design

Five days a week

Teaching key stage 3 design technology

Experience of teaching practical technology lessons, making use of the technology department's equipment for CAD /CAM , 3D printing and carpentry equipment.

Positive confident behaviour management skills able to deliver safe practical lessons.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.

Unfortunately, the school are unable to accept applications from teachers without QTS as their insurance will not then cover the teacher for practical lessons.

The School

New Academy opened in September 2022

In January 2025 the school will have Year 7, 8 and 9 - adding a new year group each academic year.
