We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cover Supervisor to join this team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining the continuity of education and upholding the highest standards of classroom management, behaviour management, and safeguarding.

Responsibilities -

  • Classroom Management: Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their work.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement and uphold the school’s behaviour policy, maintaining a calm and orderly environment.
  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students understand the tasks and expectations.
  • Support Learning: Provide assistance to students with their work and encourage a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Safeguarding: Monitor the safety and well-being of students, reporting any concerns in line with school policies.
  • Communication: Liaise with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons and effective handover of class responsibilities.
  • Time Keeping: Ensure punctuality in arriving at classes, transitioning between sessions, and completing administrative duties.
