Learning Support Assistant - Full-Time - School-Based - Oldham (OL1 or M35- Failsworth)
Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Oldham on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support to thrive in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Help students develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and those who require extra guidance.
- Implement tailored learning strategies to help students overcome barriers to learning.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support role.
- A patient, compassionate, and encouraging approach.
- Understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and how to support diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A relevant qualification in Education, Childcare, or Support Work (desirable but not essential).
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
