Daytime Healthcare are assisting a Children's Home to find a Senior Support Worker to join the team in Oldham.

This is a home that provides medium to long term residential care, and supports 4 children aged 10 - 18 yrs with a diagnosis of autism and/or learning disability. This candidate needs to have previous experience working in a Children's Home, and is a good opportunity for someone who is now wanting to progress to a more senior position.

The position:

  • You will be part of a team, working together to create a safe and loving home from home environment for the children and young people who live there.
  • Be expected to provide 24-hour care and support for all the children living at the home.
  • Some personal care may be required depending on the individual needs of the child.

Minimum requirements:

  • Children residential experience, supervision experience. Level ¾ or currently working towards.

Pay:

  • Pay rate: £14.42p/h
  • Sleep in rate: £65

Shift pattern:

  • Shift pattern varied, includes days and nights.
