We are seeking a motivated and committed Progress Leader to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. As a Progress Leader, you will take a proactive role in monitoring student progress, addressing barriers to learning, and fostering a positive school culture.
Key Responsibilities of an Attendance Officer:
- Oversee the academic progress, attendance, and well being of a cohort of students
- Identify and implement interventions to improve student performance and engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student's holistic development
- Monitor attendance and behaviour, implementing strategies to address any issues
- Support students with their personal, social, and emotional development through pastoral care
- Deliver targeted mentoring and coaching sessions to help students set and achieve their goals
- Provide regular reports on student progress to senior leadership and parents
The ideal candidate will have:
- A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment and student success
- Experience working in a school or educational setting (pastoral, academic support, or similar)
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to engage students, staff, and parents
- The ability to assess and analyse data related to student progress and outcomes
- A compassionate and proactive approach to resolving challenges and supporting student development
