Position Overview: As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our PRU school's mission to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for students who may face behavioural and emotional challenges. You will work closely with experienced educators and specialists to support the social, emotional, and academic development of these students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by senior staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the emotional well-being of students.
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities to meet individual needs.
  • Monitor and track student progress, reporting any concerns to the relevant staff members.
  • Promote a culture of respect, tolerance, and empathy within the school community.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with behavioural difficulties or SEN (Special Educational Needs) is advantageous.
