We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker with a passion for childrenās safeguarding to join our team in Oldham. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience, particularly in safeguarding or child protection, though candidates from other areas such as Assessment & Intervention are also encouraged to apply. Day-to-day of the role:- Assess, plan, and implement interventions to safeguard children and support families.
- Ensure that children and young peopleās needs are met through quality interventions.
- Maintain high standards of practice within the team, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to provide a coordinated response to the needs of children and families.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, ideally in childrenās safeguarding or child protection.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with other professionals and agencies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ā£2,000 retention payment.
