Oldham County Council are looking so social workers to join their Duty & Advice (MASH) teams!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interventions for vulnerable children and young people to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Manage complex caseloads, understanding the lived experiences of children and young people to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions for children and families.
- Continuously develop professionally and maintain accountability for delivering excellent social work practice.
- Conduct assessments of need and risk for children, families, and parental capacity to change, analyzing situations regularly.
- Create, implement, and review SMART plans to meet children's needs, ensure safety, and optimize outcomes.
- Work directly with children, young people, families, and carers, providing support to improve their lives.
- Address safeguarding concerns by following relevant policies and procedures when abuse is suspected.
- Maintain timely and accurate case file recordings, ensuring confidentiality and data quality in social care systems.
- Participate in supervision sessions, reflect on performance, and embrace changes in working practices, including ICT advancements.
