Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced, motivated and resilient individual to support students in a large 'Outstanding' SEN school in Oldham (OL8).
You will be supporting children and young adults with complex learning difficulties and multi sensory needs. You will be working with students with multiple ability levels and focus can vary life skills to a sensory curriculum.
The centre is easily accessed by public transport and has onsite parking available.
The position is open to all those who have a background in Teaching Assistant, support work, voluntary or supporting a family member with learning difficulties. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a similar setting
- GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
