Hours: Full-time- Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.

About Us:
Our school is a supportive and inclusive SEN school that provides a nurturing environment for children with a range of needs, including Autism, SEMH, and complex learning disabilities. We are dedicated to promoting the well-being, independence, and personal development of our students.
The Role:
We are looking for a proactive and innovative Activity Coordinator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will design, organize, and deliver a wide range of engaging activities that support our students' educational and personal development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to align activities with learning objectives and individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating environment that encourages participation and builds confidence.
- Organize school-wide events, such as themed days, sports activities, and creative workshops.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, adapting where necessary to meet the evolving needs of students.

Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational, care, or recreational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and health and safety practices.
Desirable:
- Experience in activity planning and delivery.
- Team Teach or similar de-escalation training.
- Qualifications in sports, arts, or other activity-based disciplines.
