Behaviour Support Mentor - SEN School in OldhamHays are working with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor to join the teaching team alternating between two sites in Oldham. This challenging and exciting role will require you to tailor support to children with SEN and implement individual behaviour management plans. You will work alongside teachers, parents and therapists to ensure maximum development and growth for each individual student. You will foster a safe and supportive learning environment, assisting students in both classroom-based and outdoor activities.About You:

  • Previous experience and a passion for supporting children with SEN
  • Able to effectively manage challenging behaviour
  • A positive outlook and a caring attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient and empathetic individual
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
