The Role:

As a Sports Coach, you will:

  • Deliver inclusive, engaging, and adaptive sports sessions tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
  • Encourage active participation and skill development in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure sports programs align with individual education plans (EHCPs).
  • Promote physical well-being, teamwork, and positive social interactions.

What We're Looking For:

  • A relevant sports coaching qualification
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an SEN or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of adaptive sports and inclusive teaching techniques.
  • Patience, creativity, and a commitment to nurturing each student's potential.
  • Safeguarding knowledge and a DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
