Are you an experienced Hire Controller or administrator looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience providing excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment?  If so, I have great new opportunity for a Hire Controller to join our client at their depot in Oldham. 

My client supplies renewable energy solutions and solar hybrid power generation, alongside eco welfare solutions to customers across the UK and you will be the first point of contact for customers, building strong relationships, understanding their hire needs and ensuring you can meet them. This is a challenging, fast paced and rewarding role that provides a fantastic platform to grow and progress your career within the Hire Industry

You must have a strong administrative background and great customer service skills to adapt within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will be responsible for answering customer enquiries quickly and efficiently and completing all administrative coordination.

What are we looking for?

  • Motivated and driven individuals with a 'can do' attitude
  • Experience within a customer focused environment - Hire industry experience would be great but not essential
  • Well organised, with the ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Effective communicators with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong team player with the ability to work to own initiative

The Hire Controller responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with transport team to organise deliveries/pick ups to/from customer sites
  • Deal with customer enquiries both face to face and over the telephone and advise on which product best suits their requirement
  • Upsell additional items and ensure all opportunities are maximised.
  • Any associated admin tasks including processing on/off hires
