Motor Vehicle Mechanic/ MOT Tester

Are you an experienced MOT tester/mechanic seeking a new role?

Jenkins Autos Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified mechanic to join our team to ensure the continued success of the business.


We are an established independent garage located on Union Street, Royton with large premises to cater for our extensive commercial and customer base. Our friendly, skilled team takes pride in providing a trusted service to ensure customer satisfaction. At Jenkins Autos Ltd, we take pride in delivering quality vehicle maintenance and repairs. We are dedicated to offering an outstanding service to all our customers.


Responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
  • Conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines
  • Carrying out vehicle repairs and servicing
  • Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest possible standard
  • Supervision and assisting with the continued training of the Level 2/3 trained Apprentices
Essential requirements:
  • Experience in vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostic work
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers effectively
  • A valid UK driving license
  • MOT Testing qualification ideally Class 4 & 7
