Architect/Architectural Technician

Activus Recruitment is recruiting an experienced architect or architectural technician to join their design team based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, on behalf of our concrete and civils specialist client. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including transport, commercial, retail, and residential. The role involves travelling to various sites throughout the UK, carrying out feasibility studies, and managing projects.

The successful candidate can progress their career within this role with further training.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility Studies
• Site visits/measures
• Preparing preliminary designs
• Liaising with clients and consultants
• Preparing planning applications
• Preparing building regulationand construction drawings
• Preparing pre-construction information
• Project Management

Qualities and Skills Required

• Must be highly proficient with AutoCAD
• 2-3yrs experience in a similar role
• The ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and construction detailing
• Solid knowledge of UK building regulations
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisation skills
• Clean driving licence
