My client is looking for an organised Coordinator with a passion for Health and Safety to join their team. This role covers a single site where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety policies align with all relevant legislation, standards, and best practices. You'll collaborate closely with the management team to foster a QHSE culture that reflects the business values and goals. You will be working in a team of 2, taking direction from the QHSE Manager.

QHSE Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with other departments to improve QHSE knowledge.
  • Promote understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality topics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to maintain and uphold QHSE standards.
  • Lead the day-to-day coordination and compliance requirements for the UK site, focusing on health and safety advice and supporting the operational and manufacturing team when required.
  • Support the growth of general compliance and ISO management systems, which include the ISO9001, 14001, 27001 & 45001, and align these with the requirements of our external auditing bodies
  • Work with external auditors to secure industry-specific certifications.

QHSE Coordinator Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable understanding of Quality Management Systems and audits.
  • Exercises good judgement, knows when to flag issues and when to deal with independently.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written and excellent presentation skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and commitment are essential characteristics in this fast-moving environment.
  • Good knowledge of structured problem-solving tools and methodologies.
