I am currently partnering with a leading food manufacturing business, who supply all major UK retailers with a wide range of products. They are currently on a look out for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead their operations within their site based in Cheshire.

In this role, you will drive improvements to business performance, ensure compliance, and oversee the full spectrum of supply chain activities – including production and supply planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, warehousing and distribution.

About the role:

  • Implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
  • Oversee forecasting and planning for materials, as well as supply and demand planning for a chilled portfolio of products.
  • Lead S&OP meetings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to help drive improvements across supply chain operations and the wider business.
  • Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals

About you:

  • Proven experience working within a similar role, with strong expertise within supply and demand planning.
  • Experience working within the food industry, ideally experience working with chilled product portfolio
  • Ability to work in fast-pace and changing environments
  • Great proactive approach to problem solving
  • People centric with passion for leading and developing teams
