Credit Controller & Treasury Manager
Annual Salary: £40k - £50kLocation: OngarJob Type: Full-time, Office-basedWe are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Credit Controller & Treasury Manager to join our client’s finance team.
This role is pivotal, offering the successful candidate the chance to directly report to the Financial Controller and make a significant impact on the company’s financial operations.The role is multifaceted, combining credit control responsibilities with the management of treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.If you have a proven track record in credit control and treasury management, along with a professional and proactive approach to your work, we want to hear from you.Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee customer accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments and accurate allocation to customer accounts.
- Engage in proactive communication with customers to manage overdue accounts effectively.
- Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Work closely with invoicing and sales teams to resolve any disputes related to billing or payments.
- Manage and reconcile sales ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular credit checks to monitor and maintain customer credit levels.
- Provide the Financial Controller with regular updates, including monthly reports and KPI analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements within credit control and treasury functions.
- Handle daily postings of receipts and payments in the Sage Intacct system.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and address any transactional discrepancies.
- Support the Financial Controller with treasury management and cash flow forecasting.
- Offer guidance and training to internal teams regarding credit policies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid experience in a similar role, particularly within credit control and exposure to treasury management.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to present information in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with Sage Intacct is essential.
- Previous experience in the service or property management industry would be beneficial.
