CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Process Development Engineer to join an established global materials manufacturing company, based near Ormskirk, on a full time, permanent basis. The salary on offer is 35,000 - 42,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.


Location:

This position will be based at the company's site near Ormskirk. Please note, a full UK driving licence and car ownership is required, due to the company's location.


Role responsibilities:

  • Developing the company's industrial manufacturing processes and products, within the R&D team
  • Focusing on customer requirements and expectations at all stages
  • Using data analysis skills and digitalisation techniques to understand trends within the manufacturing processes
  • Improving manufacturing processes and product performance via hands-on techniques
  • Attending R&D and manufacturing trials
  • Providing support to manufacturing teams

Your Background:

  • Industrial, large-scale, manufacturing experience in solid materials (i.e. steel, glass, metal, ceramics, etc)
  • Degree in Materials/Mechanical Engineering, or a Physical Science
  • Strong data analysis/statistical analysis experience
  • Process/Product Development experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
  • Ability to travel regularly to company sites in mainland Europe
