They are looking for a TA to join their team and work with a KS1 pupil on a 1:1 basis. This primary school provides an exciting and relevant curriculum which motivates the children to learn collaboratively and independently, ensuring a smooth transition when moving up the year group.Your new roleThis job role will be 21 hours a week, and you will be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis with a child in Y1. You will need to provide consistent support to the student and respond appropriately to their individual concerns. You will become an integral part of the school, joining a team of TA's who are very experienced and that you will be able to learn from. The most important responsibility will be to maintain the highest possible standards of safeguarding in order to protect your pupils' well-being and ensure that they have a safe environment to learn and be themselves.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential, and you will need to be available to start as soon as possible and continue through until Christmas with the possibility of extending.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be paid a highly competitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will become an integral part of a welcoming team of TA's.
