About the RoleAs an experienced Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and other complex needs. Your experience will be essential in assisting students both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring they reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individual students and small groups in class, adapting lessons to meet their specific learning needs.
  • Provide targeted assistance in core subjects, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, sharing insights with colleagues to support individual learning plans.

What We Are Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a school setting.
  • Proven ability to connect with and support students with complex needs, helping them achieve their goals.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for making a difference.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent) preferred.
