Recruit4staff are proud to be working with their client, a manufacturing company, in their search for a Manual Machinist to be based near Ormskirk and work at their workshop
What our client is offering for the successful Manual Machinist:
- Basic Pay Rate: Up to £18 per hour (Depending on experience)
- Up to £37,440 per annum
- Enhanced overtime rates after 39 hours at x1.5
- Working hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 4pm Fridays

The Role - Manual Machinist
- Working within the company's workshop
- Setting and operating a manual lathe and manual boring machines
- setting and operating workshop machinery
- Working from drawings
- Quality checking products
- Providing basic service and maintenance to workshop machinery
What our client is looking for in the successful Manual Machinist:
- C&G/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience of working with a Manual Lathe - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work from engineering drawings - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full drivers licence
- Ability to work alone and to strict time constraints
