Locum Band 6/7 Pharmacist – Full-Time Opportunity in West Lancashire
Our client, a large NHS Trust in Lancashire, is currently recruiting for a full-time locum pharmacist with hospital experience to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to work in a ward-based setting, providing essential clinical pharmacy support for orthopaedic patients.
Key Details:
- Position: Locum Band 6 or 7 Pharmacist
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute lunch break)
- Location: West Lancashire
- Parking: Onsite parking available
- Ward-Based Role: The position involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare teams on the wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medications, patient counselling, and clinical input on treatment plans.
- Pay Rate: £23 - £31 per hour (via Umbrella)
- Contract length - Up to 6 months!Â
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably in a ward-based setting, and be confident in supporting multidisciplinary teams in the management of elective orthopaedic cases.
